About the Webinar

We are excited to announce our first webinar, led by none other than Dr. Mohanaselvan, who will discuss "Seasonal Diseases and their Remedy with Sujok" on August 1, 2024.

Understanding Seasonal Disorders

Seasonal disorders are health conditions that occur or worsen at certain times of the year. Common examples include colds and flu in the winter, allergies in the spring, and heat-related illnesses in the summer. These disorders can significantly impact daily life, making it crucial to understand their patterns and triggers.

Pathophysiology Involved in Seasonal Disorders

The pathophysiology of seasonal disorders involves the body's response to environmental changes. For instance, cold weather can suppress immune function, making individuals more susceptible to respiratory infections. Similarly, pollen exposure in the spring can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Understanding these mechanisms helps in managing and preventing these conditions.

Major Causes and Associated Comorbidities

The primary causes of seasonal disorders include:

  • Viruses and Bacteria: Common cold and flu viruses proliferate in colder weather.

  • Allergens: Pollen, mold, and dust mites are prevalent in certain seasons.

  • Temperature Extremes: Heat and cold can exacerbate conditions like asthma and cardiovascular diseases.

  • Associated comorbidities can include chronic respiratory diseases, cardiovascular issues, and in some cases, mental health conditions like Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

Diagnosis of Pathologies through SuJok

SuJok therapy has its own diagnostic principals, In this webinar we will discuss how a  Practitioners can detect imbalances in the body’s energy flow by examining a ptient, which reflect the state of internal organs and systems. The diagnostic method helps in identifying the root cause of seasonal disorders and thus we can manage them successfully.

Treatment of the Conditions and Preventive Methods

SuJok therapy offers several treatment modalities to address seasonal disorders. Preventive methods include regular SuJok sessions, maintaining a balanced diet, and practicing good hygiene to reduce the risk of infections.
